We are a group of driven students from Colby College who are competing in the educational engineering competition Formula SAE, creating a lasting hub for hands-on, interdisciplinary innovation at Colby.
We exist to transform classroom theory into real-world technical mastery and to build a sustainable platform for student-driven engineering that endures beyond any single class.
Our Goal is to design, build and race in in the Formula Electric Competition at the Loudon New Hampshire Speedway in April 2027.
BUILD: Primary goal is to pass all inspections and have a vehicle to use for competition.
This year is dedicated to building a foundation for the club to grow from.
RACE: Primary goal is to be competing in the Acceleration, Dynamic, and Endurance Races.
Throughout this time we will be focusing on: finding a dedicated workspace, collaboration with professors, and grow membership.
WIN: We want a podium result by our fifth year.
