About Us
The Colby Outing Club is your Mayflower Hill home for all things outdoors – hiking, paddling, skiing, sledding. We lead over 100 trips a year, check out gear of all shapes and size, and foster a community centered around enjoying all that Maine has to offer. We cater our trips and gear to all levels of experience, so whether you took a gap year to hike the Appalachian Trail or have never ventured beyond the arb, you can be sure to find something at the COC. You can use this website to find out a little more about what we do: sign up for upcoming trips, find the gear you need, become a part of the club and lead trips, or learn more about outdoors opportunities in Maine and plan your own trip. Or, better yet, come see us in person! We hold meetings every Sunday at 7, in the COC office in the basement of Mary Low, and we’re open for gear check out Monday through Thursday, 7pm to 8pm, and Friday 12pm to 1pm.
