About Us
SASA's mission is to provide a community for South Asian students on campus, whether they are from the US or international. The goals of the society are to: 1) increase awareness of South Asian tradition and culture at Colby, 2) create an environment in which students, faculty and staff are encouraged to explore and experience South Asian culture, 3) address pertinent issues that face the entire South Asian community, 4) encourage interaction between South Asian students, and 5) facilitate the adjustment process for incoming South Asian students at Colby.
