Thank you for signing up to participate in the FLI@Colby Peer Mentorship Program for the 2026–2027 academic year!

You are receiving this email because you previously indicated that you would like to be matched with a FLI peer mentor. We are excited to have you join the program and begin connecting you with an upperclass student who can support you as you transition into life at Colby.

Before we can begin matching you with a mentor, you must complete one final registration step through Colby Connections between August 3 and August 16, 2026.

This is not a new application, and you have not lost your place in the program. Colby Connections is the platform we will use to organize the mentorship program, communicate with participants, and create thoughtful mentor and mentee cohorts. The information you provide will help us match you with a mentor whose interests, personality, experiences, and areas of support align with what you are looking for.

2. Create your Colby Connections account.

If you have not created an account yet:

• Select Join the Connection.
• Sign in using your Colby Student ID/SSO.
• Complete the initial account setup and onboarding questions.

If you already have a Colby Connections account, you can skip this step and sign in normally.
 

3. Open the FLI Mentorship Program

Once you are signed in:

• Select the Programs tab.
• Open FLI@Colby Peer Mentorship Program: 2026–2027.

4. Join as a mentee

• Select Join.
• Choose Mentee as your role.
• Complete the mentee registration form.
• Review your answers and submit the form.

The form will ask about your interests, goals, personality, what you hope to receive from your mentor, and anything you may be excited or nervous about as you begin your first year.

There are no right or wrong answers. Please answer honestly and include as much detail as you feel comfortable sharing. Your responses will help us create a mentorship match that feels thoughtful and supportive.
 

Registration Deadline

Please complete your registration no later than: Sunday, August 16, 2026

We will begin reviewing responses and creating mentorship matches after the registration period closes. More information about your mentor and mentorship cohort will be shared before the start of the academic year.

Completing this registration is required to be matched with a mentor. If you no longer wish to participate in the program, please reply to this email and let us know.
