About Us
Join us in a unique and exciting initiative at Brookside Elementary School, where Colby College students will lead a LEGO-building program designed to support young learners in first grade. This program aims to enhance critical developmental skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and executive functioning in a fun, hands-on environment. As part of a team of student-teachers, you’ll guide children through building weekly LEGO challenges and participate in group meetings to discuss and design lessons! We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Colby students from all class years to join us. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience working with young learners!
